摘要	The first inlet valve (E1) and outlet valve (A1) on one half of the cylinder are spaced (MA2-ME2) further apart than the inlet (E2) and outlet (A2) valves on the other half of the cylinder. The first entry (BA) to the combustion space issues into the space (30) between the inlet and outlet valves (A1,E1). The injection valves and sparkplugs are enclosed above the cylinder bore by a shaft and its walling. Crosspieces at right angles to the crankshaft axis in the larger area between combustion space entries are arranged in the shaft providing a connecting channel to issue to the left and right hand halves of the cylinder. The shaft extends on the head of the cylinder above the bearing level of the cylinder head cover. The outlet valves (A1,A2) are dissimilarly angled in relation to the cylinder head sealing plane so their valve shaft ends terminate in an engagement plane in the direction of the crankshaft axis.
