PURPOSE:To prevent a battery from bursting due to erroneous use and improve the safety of the battery by forming a groove from the outer circumference of a sealing body to the inner circumference of the tip of the open end part of a zinc can and taking out a gas in the inside to the outside. CONSTITUTION:When the open end part 1b of a zinc tube 1 is caulked, the end part 1b is prevented from widening outside and fastening force of the caulked part 1a is prevented from lowering. Further a groove 7b is formed in the upper part of a sealing body 7 and it reaches the circumference side inside the tip 1b1 of the open end part 1b of the zinc tube 1 from the circumference of the sealing body 7. When the inner pressure is increased, the ga inside the battery is taken outside along the groove 7b after passing a gap formed between the outer circumference of the sealing body 7 and the inner circumference of the zinc tube 1. The inner pressure of the battery is then decreased and the battery is prevented from bursting under high pressure and safety of the battery can be improved. |
