<p>The holder, especially for dome-shaped containers with rims, is made from a rectangular panel of a pliable material such as cardboard, semi-stiff paper or a plastics material, e.g. polystyrene or polypropylene. The panel is folded in two across a centre line (2), and apertures (5,10) are cut in opposite long edges to receive the containers. Each of the apertures is between a half-circle and three-quarters of a circle in shape, and in a variant of the design the second half (4) of the panel can be left without apertures. The two halves (3,4) can be glued together, and a hole can be made in one end so the holder can be hung up.</p> |
