MULTILINK COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the priority transmission of packet by taking the packet out of 1st transmission queue and distributing it to communication lines when the total value of 2nd transmission queue lengths for each communication line is less than a fixed value. SOLUTION: Communication lines L1-Ln to assign the packet are successively selected out of communication lines under use for multilink bundle on the condition that the value of octet numbers t1-tn waiting transmission in a line transmission managing table TB1 is smaller than line transmission waiting octet number allowable values k1-kn. When a total value at of transmission waiting octet numbers gets smaller than a bundle transmission waiting octet number allowable value sta in a bundle transmission managing table TB2 after the packet is sent out of the communication line, the packet is taken out of priority queues qp1-qpm and processing for assigning it to queues q1-qn of communication lines is performed. Thus, the transmission delay time of high-priority packet is made less than a common line waiting time allowable value ck.
