The air for the fluidization of the powder contained in the reservoir (1) is cool, dry air. A heat exchanger (30) supplies a closed loop circuit which includes an annular cooling chamber (32) and a coil (33) arranged in the path of the powder. The shaft of the worm screw may also be cooled.
