PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat a can drink up to a prescribed temperature in a short time without heating locally a cemented can, etc., having an electrically insulated junction by preparing an elliptic or rectangular shaped heating coil that is curved along the outer circumference surface of the can and increasing the longitudinal length of the coil compared with the axial direction length of the can. SOLUTION: A heating coil 1 has an elliptic or rectangular shaped form and is curved along the cylindrical wall of a can 50. Then the length L1 (outer diameter) and L2 (inner diameter) set in the longitudinal direction (longer axis direction of ellipse) of the coil 1 are increased compared with the axial direction length L0 of the can 50. As a result, the eddy current is primarily generated along the can wall set in parallel to the can axis. Thus, the heating is suppressed at both end parts of the can 50 and the abnormal heating is eliminated even though the can so has the junctions at its both end parts. |
