PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyester film for laminate adapted to a metal can manufactured by molding by dealing with severe molding in the case of molding a can and incorporating taste characteristic or particularly excellent taste characteristics after retorting. SOLUTION: A laminate film is obtained by disposing a B-layer containing polyester B having a melting point of lower than 246 deg.C as a main component on at least one surface of an A-layer containing polyester A having a melting point of 246 deg.C or higher. In this case, a face orientation coefficient of the A layer of the film is 0.08 to 0.14.
