PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue an easy-to-handle receipt even when the length of the receipt is increased owing to an increased number of items. SOLUTION: The print area of a receipt form of the sales data is divided in each prescribed receipt length L, e.g., the length of a¥10000 bill, and a receipt R1 where these divided print areas are printed is issued. Thus, the receipt R1 easily has the prescribed length L when it's folded in each division D1 and then can be easily stored in a purse together with bills. In other words, the folded receipt R1 can be easily put into a purse never to twist about the bills when they are taken out or put into the purse and to be free from the lines. Thus, it's possible to issue an easy-to-handle receipt R1 even when its length is increased owing to an increased number of items.
