Each terminal on the rear side of the front panel has a coupling component for connection of one or a pair of fibre conductors. The terminals each have a holder which is individually withdrawable to a service position outside the front panel. In this position an end part of the actual fibre conductor or a pair of them and their coupling components are outside the front panel. The holders have a leg (8) extending into the interior of the box, which is separated from a fibre conductor space via a plate (15). The plate has a surface turned towards the fibre conductor space, which is essentially smooth. The plate (15) is arranged via distance pieces (17) at a distance from the bottom (1) of the box and at least specific parts (18) of the holders are guided in a height direction between the under side of the plate and the bottom of the box. The front panel has a number of openings (9) through which the legs (8) extending into the box interior are fitted. |
