<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a transmission band width inside image data transferred from a host computer to a printer for the specified scanning of a printing head by transmitting only non absolute zero information inside the image data from the host computer to the printer. SOLUTION: While executing a printing method for utilizing 50% singling algorithm, for the first path of the printing head, it is assumed that absolute zero value data inside the image data correspond to the odd-numbered bits 1, 3, 5,...15 of source image data and it is assumed that non absolute zero value image data correspond to the even-numbered bits 2, 4, 6,...16 of the source image data. The absolute zero value image data and the non absolute zero value image data are formed by the host computer and then, the same thing is instructed to the printer. To both of the host computer and the printer, the part of the absolute zero value of the image data is instructed. Only the image data provided with a non absolute zero value are transmitted from the host computer to the printer.</p> |
