PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodles discharge lamp lighting device capable of preventing a performance deterioration caused by a heat generation from an induction coil and from an electrodeless discharge lamp and caused by an influence of radiation noise, capable of improving workability during their assembling work. SOLUTION: This electrodeless discharge lamp is equipped with an electrodeless discharge lamp L, an induction coil 2 placed in the neighborhood of and along a periphery of a recess k in a glass valve 1 of the electrodeless discharge lamp L, a high frequency power supply circuit 8 which supplies a high frequency power to the induction coil 2 through a cable 7 and a matching circuit 6 which eliminates reflection by taking a matching of both the induction coil 2 and the high frequency power supply circuit 8 and supplies effectively a high frequency electric power to the electrodeless discharge lamp L. A cylindrical body 3 of metal and a coil part 2a and a lead part 2b of the induction coil 2 are adhesively placed, and is structured so that influence which noise radiated from the induction coil 2 gives to components such as the matching circuit 6, etc., on a printed circuit board is reduced. |
