<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a user friendly operating device for controlling and monitoring a video technique-based equipment by displaying the operation of a graphic user interface through a display screen, and providing buttons in the outside of the operation face, and fields for displacing and/or inputting a control parameter in the inside of the operation face. SOLUTION: Plural menus are displayed on a display screen 22. A series of switching fields 80', 64, 65, 81'; 82', 52, 53, 83' are provided at the first edge and the second edge on the opposite side, menu selection buttons 77 and 84' are provided at the third edge, and indicator fields 45-48 of a control parameter supplied by deposits 41-44 are provided at the fourth edge. An operation using a mouse is executed through a graphic user interface. Keys are provided outside the edge, and on the opposite side to the buttons, and the same functions as the buttons are applied to the keys so that the buttons may be supported.</p> |
