The protective piece (1) is made in supple material and goes round the shoe at the level of the upper, the quarter and the narrow part of the sole. It is joined to the shoe by its shape. It has a seat that fits the arch at the narrow part of th sole. A projection (2) fits into the concave part of the inner quarter of the shoe. The piece can be adjusted by an extensible strap, joined to the piece. There can be a second thinner projection, opposite the first projection.
