PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge a large quantity of fuel gas easily without needing a cooling device, a pressurizing device, and the like by making porous material stored in a container, occlude fuel gas under the coexistence of a compound to be a host. SOLUTION: Porous material 2 is charged in a tank container 1, and the tank container 1 is provided with a lead-in-and-out conduit 3 for fuel gas and a compound to be a host in such a way that its opening in the container 1 faces the upper space 5 of the tank container 1. In case of storing fuel gas in the tank container 1, the compound to be the host is supplied and adsorbed to the porous material 2, and then fuel gas is supplied and occluded. As appropriate hard material to be used, activated carbon or ceramics is suitable, and as compound to be the host, water alcohol such as methyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol, organic acid such as formic acid or acetic acid, quinone such as benzoquinone can be given. |
