Extruded dough feed assembly for bakery

A dough extruding machine (11) provides a continual supply of dough to a feed assembly (14) which in turn maintains a supply of dough to an automatic machine (16) forming traditional looped Pretzel bread-rolls. The novelty is that the feed assembly (14) incorporates a stress-relief assembly, which relieves the inner stresses within the dough which are created by the extrusion process; (b) the stress-relief assembly is an inverted U-shaped conveyer belt (40), with the opening pointed downwards, and running approximately horizontal at the point of discharge to the Pretzel-looping machine (16).
