PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an efficient correction of the defect in a printed pattern generating during a screen process printing. SOLUTION: In order to correct the defect of a printed pattern, a defect correcting sheet 20, which is produced by forming a bonding layer on a transparent sheet 22, on which a correcting material layer 24 is formed, so as to cover the correcting material layer 24, is employed. Against the defective portion of a predetermined pattern produced on a matter to be printed through printing, the defect correcting sheet 20 is urged so as to transfer the correcting material layer 24 to the defective portion. Further, by irradiating, for example, laser beams or the like to the transferred portion, the bonding layer 26 transferred together with the correcting material layer 24 is evaporated and, at the same time, the correcting material layer 24 is fired.
