<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow to detect securely that an accelerator position sensor is exchanged, when such an exchange is carried out. SOLUTION: A connecting condition detecting means 5 detects whether an accelerator position sensor 5 and an opening calculating means 50 are connected or not, and when a noconnecting condition is detected, a holding means 52 holds its detecting result. When a learning means 54 shows that the detecting result is the noconnecting condition, its holding condition is reset by a resetting means 53. And when the new detecting result by the connecting condition detecting means 51 shows the connecting condition, the output of the accelerator position sensor 5 is read, and it is made as a standard value and remenbered in a memory 13. During the operation of the vehicle thereafter, the opening calculating means 50 compares the output of the accelerator position sensor 5 and the standard value memorized in the memory 13, so as to calculate and output the accelerator opening.</p> |
