PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of blurring of a line at the start of writing after leaving in a cap-off state, or the occurrence of bleeding and dripping during writing with a ball-point pen having a ball of 1.2-3.0 mm diameter at its tip end. SOLUTION: Ink is made in its ink viscosity of 1,000-10,000 mPa.s in the room temperature of 20 deg.C. Dye is contained 10-40 wt.% in an ink composition. A solvent used herein is of an organic solvent having at least one or more alcoholic hydroxylic groups in its molecules. A ball disposed at the tip end of the ball-point pen is of one having a surface roughness of 0.005-0.015 μm in an arithmetic average roughness (Ra). The ball is held rotatably in the form of being projected outward from the tip end periphery by 25-30% of the ball diameter. Ink is housed in an ink reservoir sleeve for forming a ball-point pen provided with a ball-point pen tip. |
