PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously carry out sterilization and neutralization, by dipping an object to be sterilized into hydrogen peroxide solution in a sterilizing tub to start sterilization and moving and adding a neutralizer after a prescribed time elapsed from the starting of dipping. SOLUTION: A contact lens holder 1 into which a contact lens is put is set in a sterilizing tub 16, hydrogen peroxide is added to the sterilizing tub 16, and a switch 14 is turned ON to start sterilization. After a prescribed time, a timer acts to automatically actuated a drive motor unit. Thereby a neutralizing piece 17 changes the position to dip a neutralizing member 17b into the hydrogen peroxide solution to start neutralization. Bubbles are produced by the neutralization reaction to flow hydrogen peroxide solution along a curved face to carry out smooth neutralization reaction. A light emitting diode 15 is lit off to inform the completion of the neutralization reaction. By this method, a procedure miss can be prevented to make sterilization and neutralization be securely carried out. |
