PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new deodorant to eliminate an offensive odor, by making extracts of soy sauce oil, soy sauce cake, their unsapnifiable matters, or a mixture of those be an effective component. SOLUTION: Soy sauce oil itself can be used as an effective component of a deodorant, and organic solvent extracts (unsoponifiable matters) after saponification also can be preferably used. Soy sauce cake is extracted using an organic solvent such as methanol, ethanol, ethyl acetate, etc., to obtain an extract. The extract itself can be used as the effective component of a deodorant, and an organic solvent extract (unsoponifiable matter) can be used similarly. Extracts of soy sauce oil, soy sauce cake, or their unsapnifiable matters can be solely used for the effective component, and more than one of those can be mixed and used. Those effective components are used solely itself, by dissolving into an organic solvent such as methanol, ethanol, etc., by emulsifying or dispersing into water, or in a form of powder. |
