PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform development of an air bag body in the optimum condition. SOLUTION: If a head part 50A and the like of an occupant 50 invades an air bag body development area, the head part 50A of the occupant 50 intruding into the air bag body development area is detected by means of an infrared ray sensor 13, and its signal (occupant detection signal) is outputted from a light receiving part 13B in the infrared ray sensor 13 to a control circuit 17. The control 17 turns on a warning lamp 15 so as to give an alarm against the intrusion of the occupant 50 to the inside of the air bag body development area when the occupant detection signal from the light receiving part 13A continues for a predetermined time or more, and the occupant 50 is urged to leave the air bag body development area. |
