PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the coloring of two or more colors even in a single layer hear sensitive recording layer employing on kind of dye, which is excellent in the sensitivity and image density of a second color which is developed in high temperature, as well as the color development in low temperature. SOLUTION: By employing a compound having a phthalide group and a specific hydroxycarbonylamie group represented by the formula as a dye precursor and an aromatic carboxylic acid compound or its metal salt as a developer, a hat sensitive recording material having a practically enough and excellent sensitivity and density for a second color can be provided. Further, by adding a thermoplastic organic compound as a third substance, the sensitivity and density can be improved. In the formula, R1 represents 1-13C monovalent group, in which an ether bond, a thioether bond, a halogen atom, a cyano group, a carbonyl group, a sulfonyl group and a sulfinyl group may well be included. |
