PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warp-opening device capable of freely controlling the opening angle, opening height or opening speed of warps. SOLUTION: This warp-opening device 40 comprises a heddle 41, a needle 42 attached to the lower end of the heddle 41, and stators 43a, 43b disposed so as to nip the needle 42 from both the sides. Exciting coils 44a, 44b are fixed to the inner wall surfaces of the stators 43a, 43b, respectively, abd totally four permanent magnets 45 are attached to positions faced to the exciting coils 44a, 44b on both the sides of the needle 42. The magnetic poles of the permanent magnets 45 faced to the exciting coil 44 are set so that e.g. the magnetic poles of the upper and lower permanent magnet 45 are N and S, or S and N, respectively. When an electric current is applied to the right and left exciting magnetic coils 44a, 44b in the counter-clock direction, the heddle is downwardly moved, and when the electric current is applied in the reverse direction, the heddle is upwardly moved. |
