The sole has a central section with a depending curved surface to form a rolling support area (4) on the connecting line between the front and rear ends (6,7) of the underside of the sole. The sole has a reduced thickness at the front section. The rolling section can be formed through a laterally extending bulge (9) at the underside of the sole. The bulge surface can be cylindrical.
