The tubular body has a wall surface composed of elongated interconnected members extending between a first and second end. The members of the first group form a pair including a slot and a ring going round the longitudinal axis of the tubular body. The rings (2) are interconnected to elongated members (4) running in the longitudinal direction of the tubular body and belonging to a second group of members. Adjacent slots (5) of one ring are joined to each other at connecting points (3). The members of the second group are each joined at the ends to a connecting point of the adjacent ring.
