PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a mechanism for fixing a developing unit by pressing the upper part of the developing unit by a pressing spring provided on a top cover in an image recorder in which the developing unit is attached from the upper part of the main body of the image recorder. SOLUTION: The developing unit 30 arranged in the image forming part of the image recorder supports a photoreceptor unit through a supporting plate 40, and the respective roller members of the unit are driven by meshing the main body output gear 23 of the main body of the recorder with a transmitting gear 51 arranged in the driving transmitting part 50 of the unit 30. The transmitting gear is rotated downward at a meshing part where the gear 23 is meshed with the gear 51, and downward force F acts to press the other end of the unit downward at the meshing part. Therefore, the unit is stably held even though one pressing spring is not arranged on the top cover. |
