Tube permitting the detection of light. It comprises a photocathode (2) followed by a multiplying body (3) drilled with microchannels, then by a detecting anode (4). The anode comprises one or more elements depending on the flux number to be detected, and a mosaic of elements for detecting a video image. Each element constitutes a silicon diode biased in the blocking direction by an adjoining source (7).
