PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inrush current limiting circuit, a circuit for limiting the supply of inrush currents to a circuit unit by detecting currents supplied to the circuit unit and limiting currents to be supplied to the circuit unit in accordance with the detected currents, which when it is incorporated in an apparatus having a plurality of such circuit units, enable downsize of the apparatus and lowering of its cost. SOLUTION: This circuit is provided with a current-detecting circuit 2, which detects currents supplied to the digital circuit unit 21 of the two circuit units of a digital circuit unit 21 and an analog circuit unit 22 powered by a common battery 10, a switching circuit 4 which, provided in the digital circuit unit 21, controls the switching of the supply of currents, a switching circuit 5, a which provided in the analog circuit unit 22, controls the switching of the supply of currents, and a control circuit 3, which controls the switching circuits 4, 5 so as to stop the supply of currents to the digital circuit unit 21 and analog circuit unit 22 by turning off the switching circuits 4, 5, when the currents detected in the current detecting circuit 2 are larger than a given current value. |
