PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a matte thermoplastic resin compsn. of which the defects such as the degradation in impact strength, rigidity are eliminated, and moldability and the evenness of luster are improved by compounding a functional polymer, another thermoplastic resin, and a polycarbodiimide as the main ingredients. SOLUTION: A 0.1-99.9 wt.% functional polymer (A) formed from an unsatd. compd. having a functional group selected from among hydroxyl, carboxyl, acid anhydride, epoxy, oxazoline, maleimido, ester, amido, amino, and ether groups and if necessary another copolymerizable vinyl monomer, 0-99.8 wt.% another thermoplastic resin (B), and 0.1-20wt.% polycarbodiimide (C) (the sum of the three ingredients being 100 wt.%) are melt mixed and kneaded as the main ingredients. Pref., ingredient C is cured in melt kneading. In place of ingredient B, 1-99.8 wt.% (rubber-modified) styrene resin may be used. |
