PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyurethane foamed body capable of providing a foam with plural functions all at once while omitting a fabricating process after expansion, by using a composite material prepared by coating and/or impregnating carbide powder and granules with a ceramic. SOLUTION: Carbide powder and granules comprising a carbonizable waste, composed of an ordinary carbonaceous substance other than a carbonaceous raw material of highly activated carbon such as coconut husk, palm kernel, coal or lignite such as Australia coal, a polymer material such as acrylic fiber as raw material, is coated and/or impregnated with a ceramic to give a composite material (Al2 O3 .SiO2 -based binder is preferable as a ceramic binder such as a binder having a composition of formula I or formula II). The raw material is added to a polyurethane foam raw material, which is integrally expanded to give the objective polyurethane foamed body. |
