<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the surface of an aluminum-based electric wire material such as aluminum wire or aluminum pipe from being corroded due to proliferation of mildew, by surface-treating the aluminum-based electric wire material with a surface treating solution, in which a mildewproof agent is compounded. SOLUTION: An aluminum-based electric wire material is surface-treated with a surface treating solution in which 0.1-12 wt.% mildewproof agent [e.g. 2-(4-thiazolyl)-benzimidazole] is compounded. Furthermore, the treating solution is preferably e.g. mineral oil-based lubricant and when the treating agent is a coating material, the coating material comprises preferably a resin component such as acrylic resin and a solvent component and e.g. electrostatic coating method is preferably used as the treating method.</p> |
