PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device capable of performing back- printing while considering an unrecording area. SOLUTION: A lamp 60 illuminates the surface of a recording paper and image information is obtained by a sensor 70. This image information is the one which is divided into specified small areas. By this information, the position of the image information on the recorded surface of the recording paper on the paper is detected, and the position of the image information on the unrecorded surface of the recording paper on the paper is detected. The detection results of the two positions of recorded image information and the unrecorded image information on the paper are compared, and the recording paper is adequately processed in accordance with the detection result. Therefore, when an image previously exists on the position of the recording paper on which the image information to be recorded is printed, the recording paper can be forcibly discharged, so that superposed printing is previously prevented. |
