The corresponding windings of two or more transfluxors are connected together so as to produce a characteristic which is the sum or difference of the individual characteristics. To obtain different characteristics from the two transfluxors they may have different numbers of turns, different materials, different sizes or resistors may be included in series with the windings. Connecting the output windings in series opposition is stated to compensate for stray effects. Possible applications of the composite device are analogue to digital converting, pulse operation and integral control. The two, or more, transfluxors may be arranged above each other separated by a spacing disc or discs. The output winding may drive a transistor. The output in the output winding may be produced by transformer action and one of the windings common to both transfluxors may act as a bias winding. |
