SOLUTION: In a drive shaft A which is expansible in the axial direction of two shaft bodies 1, 2 and which is connected so that a torque can be transmitted in the circumferential direction, the elements 4 to 8 out of the constituent elements 4 to 9 of a ball spline unit 3 being bestridingly in contact with the two shaft bodies 1, 2 are formed by an insulative material of an electric insulation.
