<p>A sensor (2) is described. The sensor is divided into two chambers (29,30) by means of a partitioning wall (28). Detecting means (33) are situated in the first chamber (29) and the electric connections between the conductors of the cable and the wire ends of the coil will be in a second chamber. The armouring (36) of the cable will also be in the second chamber. After fitting the housing (19) of the sensor with filler material, and when this is cured, there will be achieved an embedment of connection points and cable armouring, and also a firm connection between cable and sensor. In order to ensure evacuation of all air, the sensor is subjected to vacuum until the filler material has been cured.
