<p>A chimney element (1) for single or multiple-shell chimneys consists of fired clay produced by the vertical coring technique. It further consists of a shell region (16), an insulating region (17) being connected with the shell region (16), and a flue-gas pipe (2). The shell region (16) and insulating region (17) are constructed in one piece and are provided with multiple-row arrangement of, preferably concentrically arranged vent holes (3, 3'). A massive supporting bridge (4) running through the whole system of the vent holes (3, 3') is adjusted in the cross-section of the chimney element (1). The whole profile of the chimney element (1) or a dish-shaped part thereof are profiling in the extruding process into a semi-product with longitudinal holes. The semi-product is cut into particular pieces which are then subjected to drying, firing, manual or automatic finishing processed by milling or grinding. After drying or firing of the chimney element (1), at least one of its lateral parts- from the region between supporting bridges (4, 4'), optionally the massive supporting bridge (49)- is broken off.</p> |
