The invention refers to an improved fluorescent flume lighting fixture, particularly pretended for a lowered mounting to a suspended roof grid, the invention fixture having a housing frame configured with separated end plates which are secured to superior plate and side flanges without the need of separated fasteners. Fixture housing end plates, superior plate, and side flanges are instantaneously adjusted among them by using cooperative fastening means, integrally formed with end plates, among other things. Fixture housing mounts a blind and a channel with fastening structure integrally formed with fixture housing, channel mounting at least a fluorescent lamp, and having reflecting surfaces opposed to lamp to increase fixture efficiency. Invention fixture also includes an improved light trap and blind mounting assembly comprising a light trap having integral fastening means which attach light trap composing parts among them, and which attach light trap to blind, and which also releasably mount blind and light trap assembly to fixture housing without using separated fastening means, such as screws, hinges, bolts, and the like.
