The fork (1), made from cut and shaped sheet metal and designed to slide along a shaft (2) on the gearbox housing, consists of two branches (1a) joined by a central portion (1b) which curves round a line parallel to the direction in which it slides. The central portion of the fork is equipped with a fixed tubular guide (7) which slides along the shaft by means of one or more plastic bushes (8, 9) e.g. overmoulded onto the shaft. The shaft is in the form of a non-circular extension of a second fork (3), also made from sheet metal. |
