An assembly to separate a fluid which is a heterogenic dispersion with light and heavy phases, comprises a series of plate-like identical geometrical bow-shapes. The shapes are assembled in the same orientation to form a package (4) held by an external frame (4). The gaps (6) between adjacent shapes form flow-channels for the fluid. The crown zone in each bow-shape incorporates an aperture (2) allowing the lighter fluid to escape. The separation elements are bow-shapes (1) of identical radius and length. The elements (1) are arranged in identical orientation to form bow-shaped intermediate channels (6) between adjacent elements (1). Each bow describes an arc of preferably 120 deg . The crown openings (2) are located between adjacent elements (1), each opening (2) being laterally transposed w.r.t. the next. The lamella are made of preferably borosilicate glass 3.3.
