Flat picture tube

The picture tube has a flat or curved picture screen (20). It also has at least two electron guns (15,16) spaced from the screen (20). The electron guns (15,16) are spaced from each other and with respect to a normal at the middle point of the screen (20). Preferably the electron guns are arranged in separate tube sections (13,14). The electron guns may each comprise several cathode ray emitters. A separate deflection coil set (11,12) may be associated with each electron gun (15,16). The screen may have a number of screen sections corresponding to the number of electron guns. Each section is curved about a separate middle point.
