PRODUCTION OF BIOLOGICAL RATICIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a raticide composition derived from a microorganism in an industrial scale and to obtain a raticide composition obtained by the method. SOLUTION: In this method for producing a microbiological raticide preparation by using particles of grain as a bait, and a single germicidal microorganism and an anticoagulant as active constitution elements, a highly concentrated inoculated substance is obtained by fermentation of Salmonella enteritidis enteric subspecies, subgroup 1 and group D in a liquid nutrient medium. The inoculated substance and a mixed solution of sodium hydroxide as a substance for enhancing efficacy in preparation and warfarin sodic salt (3-α-benzylacetonyl-4- hydroxycoumarin) are inoculated to a premixed bait.
