FIELD: thermal physical measurements. SUBSTANCE: device has tube and two thermocouples. Tube is made of material having known thermal and physical properties and is installed in heat exchanging apparatus. One thermocouple is secured on external surface of tube, and second thermocouple is positioned along tube axis. Calibrated scale is placed on external surface of tube. The latter is mounted for free movement along and around its axis. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement, simplified construction. 2 dwg øøø1
