PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional topography display device by which the difference of elevation can be viewed even in an area where the difference is small. SOLUTION: Based on the display reference point position and the direction angle of a display area outputted from a display reference point output device 5, an object area to be displayed is decided by a display object area decision part 11 and topography data corresponding to the object area is read from an external storage device 3. Then, topography shape data is produced by a shape data producing part 13 and transformed to the coordinate of three-dimensional topography data by a coordinate transformation part 21. On the other hand, the reference height value of a display reference point is decided by a reference height value decision part 15 based on the display reference point position and the topography data. Based on the reference height value, a color function is decided by a color function decision part 17. Next, the display color of the topography shape data is decided by a topography display color decision part 19 based on the respective height values of the topography shape data and the color function. Then, a three-dimensional topographical picture is plotted by a plotting processing part 22 based on the three-dimensional topography data and the display color of the topography shape data. |
