<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a sealing-strip label to be stuck to an object receiving the label highly efficiently by producing the individual sealing-strip label by cutting from a continuous material web in a region of a packaging machine and also by forming a plurality of the sealing-strip labels in parallel across a lengthwise direction of the material web. SOLUTION: In a cigarette packet 11 with a sealing-strip label (such as a revenue stamp) 10 stuck, the rectangular label 10 is cut off sequentially from a continuous material web 14 by a cutting unit 22, wherein the cut label 10 is oriented such that a lengthwise extension of the label 10 extends across the material web 14 so that a width of the material web 14 is equal to a length of the single label 10. Then the label 10 is transferred to a packaging apparatus (rotary folding unit) by a conveyer 30 including suction bores 33..., and while the individual labels 10 are transferred at intervals, adhesive spot strings are applied by an adhering nozzle. Thereafter, the label 10 is transferred to the packet 11 to be stuck.</p> |
