PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lap a work with high accuracy by mounting the work on an adaptor supported by a lap base, and moving a working face of the work independently from a working face of a lap base. SOLUTION: A lap surface plate 104 is rotated by a motor, and a lap base 10 comprises six bearing surfaces 111 on a lower face. The lap base 10 comprises a pressurizing mechanism 13 for pressurizing an adaptor 11, the adaptor 11 has the almost L-shape, and a work 103 (101) is mounted on a first face 11a of the adaptor. Further the work 103 is fixed to the first face 11a by a work fixing jig 112, and the second face 11b is mounted on the adaptor 11. A support mechanism installed on the lap base 10 comprises a height adjusting screw 110b, and a receiving part 113 of the adaptor 11 is engaged with a spherical support part 110a. |
