<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device incorporated with an optical shake correction function which is capable of saving energy by turning on/off power. SOLUTION: The image pickup device is provided with shake detecting means 101-103, the optical shake correcting means 106-110, signal processing means 104 and 105, image forming means 112-114, an image pickup means 115, a video signal, processing means 116, a photographing mode switching-selecting means 18 for selecting respective photographing modes for moving/still pictures, a trigger means 19 for preparing and starting photographing in accordance with the switching of the photographing mode, a judging means 20 for judging the photographing mode and a photographing state from the outputs of the photographing mode switching-selecting means and the trigger means and a power supply means 21 for enabling the continuation/ interruption of the supply of the power by the output of the judging means. This judging means 20 judges that the trigger means 19 is operated when as the photographing mode, the still picture photographing mode is selected, to control the continuation/interruption of the supply of the power to an optical shake correcting control circuit, until photographing for still picture mode photographing is prepared and started.</p> |
