SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing 2-amino-4-(hydroxymethyl)- -3a, 5,6,6a-tetrahydro-4H-cyclopent-[d]-oxazole-4,5,6-triol using new strains of actinomyces Micromonospora of species SANR 62390 FERM BP-3521 and Amycolatopsis of species SANR 60791 FERM BP-3513. This compound shows capability to inhibit activity of sugar hydrolases and can be used for treatment and prophylaxis of patients with cancer, AIDS, diabetes and obesity.
