PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which the fixing pressure of a fixing device is always properly maintained by corresponding to the kind of paper. SOLUTION: A link arm 58 exists at a reference position where fixing is performed to plain paper when an ejected paper tray capable of opening and closing 23 is closed at the position of a solid line. When the ejected paper tray 23 is opened at a first paper stacking position 23-1, the projecting end of a projecting surface 62-1 is engaged with the projecting end of the link engaging projecting part 58-1 of the link arm 58 so as to be opposed by turning a cam 62 fixed to a hinge shaft 61, so that the link arm 58 is turned in a counterclockwise direction. The pull-in pressing force of a pull-in spring 57 is increased, and a press-contact lever 55 is more strongly pressed in a clockwise direction, so that a press-contact roller 52 is more strongly abutted on a heat-generating roller 51. On the other hand, when the ejected paper tray 23 is opened at a second paper stacking position 23-2, the projecting surface 62-1 is disengaged from the link engaging projecting part 58-1 by more largely turning the cam 62, so that all members are returned back to the reference position similar to that when the ejected paper tray 23 is closed. |
