摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an optimum place out of installation place candidates automatically by optimization algorithm on the basis of the degree of margin of an effective power, by forming an effective power-voltage characteristic curve automatically, and finding the degree of margin of the effective power. SOLUTION: A characteristic figure of a P-V curve is generated. The right end of the curve is a load increase limit point (nose point), and the left end is a present operating value, and the degree of margin of an effective power is the difference between a power command at the present operating value and that at the load increase limit point. A CPFLOW(continuation power flow) algorithm designates a system condition, installation place candidates, and voltage monitoring points, performs tidal current computation and forms a P-V curve at each voltage monitoring point designated, finds the degree of margin of the effective power from the present operating value up to the nose point, and gives them to an optimization algorithm. The optimization algorithm selects an optimum installation place, on the basis of the degree of margin of the effective power at the voltage monitoring point given from the CPFLOW algorithm and the capacity of a reactive power compensating apparatus installed.
