AIR CONDITIONER WITH FUNCTION FOR CLEANING AIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a cleaning efficiency of an air cleaning segment by a method wherein a blower is installed at a downstream side of two filters, either an air volume or an operating time of the blower is controlled in response to information attained from an outlet port arranged at a downstream side of the blower and a sensor. SOLUTION: A first filter 2 for catching particle substances and a second filter 3 for adsorbing chemical substances are arranged near a suction port 1. A blower 4 is arranged at a downstream side of these first and second filters 2, 3 and at the same time a sensor 5 for detecting either the particle substances or chemical substances is arranged. Then, either an air volume or an operating time of the blower 4 is controlled by a control circuit 9 in response to information attained at an outlet 6 arranged at a downstream side of the blower 4 and the sensor 5. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to increase a purifying efficiency at an air cleaning segment 7 and further it is also possible to perform an air cleaning operation in an indoor area within a short period of time.
